JenniferJennifer had always hoped to become a multitasking super star. When she was young Jennifer was fond of a variety of musical styles, mostly Afro-Caribbean styles like salsa, merengue and the bachata. Also, she was a fan of mainstream musicsuch as hip-hop as well as R&B. Even though she loved music, the film industry was also a fascination for her. West Side Story (1961) was the Rita Moreno musical that greatly influenced her is also her biggest source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was more than just an entertainer. Also, she attended eight years at a Catholic primary school known as Holy Family. Jennifer then completed her four-year degree at Preston High School. Jennifer, a talented athlete, who played tennis and track in school, was an exceptional student. The Castle Hill neighbourhood was her home for most of her life. Jennifer quit her home at the age of turned 18 and moved in with her family. At the time, Lopez worked at a law firm while she took dance classes at night.
